The Forest Path

"Sure, lets go to the lake and swim a little." Lunar stretched and started off.

Shatter bounded in the general direction lunar was headed. really having no idea where to go.

Lunar had no clue where the lake was, she thought she was going in the right direction, but she wasnt.

Rhett sighed and got to his paws, but noticed they were going the wrong way. He cleared his throat "Uhhm, guys? the lake is this way." he pointed with his nose a bit to the left.

"No, I mean another lake.." Lunar smiled. She remembered a lake.. a different one. "Im going this way." I sure hope this is the right way to the lake I remember..


((psst, i want them o get lost, k? (: ))

Rhett sighed, and thought long and hard "I don't remember one, but okay."

He followed slowly lagging behind. The place where they were going was strange and unfirmilar to him, but he trusted Lunar to show the way, if she was so sure.

Kiara walked through the forest with her belly full of rabbit. She had left nothing but a few chewed up bones and the right kidney. Thinking about going back and snacking on something else, Kiara changed her mind and kept heading to her home. Kiara's home was a large rock that gave shade over a slight hole in the ground. She always thought it was better being alone than sharing a spot with a bunch of other wolves.

Lunar was still running when she tripped over a very large rock. "Ouch!" She cursed and licked her hurt front leg.

Kiara was fast asleep when she heard a giant thump. Quickly running around the rock, she laughed and sat down. "You OK?" By the look of the stranger's paw it didn't look like it was anything to worry about.

Rhett saw the stranger wolf, and trotted over to Lunar's side "Woah, you okay there?" he asked, then turned to the new wolf, nodding to her in greeting.

Kiara wagged her tail and smiled. "Nice to meet you," she barked. "My name's Kiara. Why don'you two go around to the shady part of my rock and let her rest for a little while."

"Fine with me. Nice to meet you, I'm Rhett." he said, and looked over at Lunar.

Lunar smiled at Kiara, "Im Lunar." She stood up and shook the dirt off her coat. "Im okay."

" Mmkay." Kiara layed down behind her rock" So where are you two heading? Are you guys lost? I can help you if you are. I know every inch of this forest." She could never shut her muzzle whenever she met a new wolf that didn't reject her.

"We actually are with a friend too," Lunar pointed out Shatter, "This is Shatter."

Rhett nodded, and looked over at Shatter."Uhm, I'm pretty sure we aren't lost, right?" he asked Lunar, who he had been following.

Kiara grinned at Shatter the looked back at Lunar and Rhett" You guys mind if my brother and I tag along," she asked as she spotted Fenrir with a giant fish in his mouth. The fish in Fenrir's grasp was flailing arond and slapping him in the face. He finally dropped the fish in front of Kiara. " Here. I finally got you a fish." Kiara giggled" Fenrir..... That about an hour ago.... I hunted myself and I'm full now....."

Lunar laughed, "Yea, Im sure were not lost." They hed traveled so far from home now she had no idea where they were.

Fenrir frowned and picked the fish up." Fine. It's mine." He never chewed much when he ate. Only biting the fish 4 times, he swallowed it. Kiara gave her brother a sickining expression." You're so gross." Fenrir mocked his big sister after hacking and caughing then looked at Lunar." So where are you all going? 'Cause I wanna go! Just as long as it's fun!"

"We are going to the lake for a dip, you guys can come, well..." Lunar looked at Rhett and Shatter, "If they want you to tag along too."

"Sure, I don't really mind." Rhett said, just glad that he wasn't alone with Lunar. For some reson, it was uncomfortable..

"Ok!" Lunar smiled, "im sure Shatter wouldnt mind."

"Yeah. So, where to?" he asked, giving a genuine smile.
