The Forest Path

Lunar repeated, "The lake!" She smiled and stared walking.

Rhett followed, and turned around to see if the others were comming.

Fenrir spun around and cheered"Now lets go!" He bolted off into the forest and disapeared within seconds. Kiara shook her head and walked in the other direction." It'll take Fenrir about 15 minutes if he goes that way. Come this way. We'll be at the lake in no time."

"Ok.." Lunar was confused with Fenrir but walked back in the other direction, where everyone else was going.

Rhett was confused as well, but decided to follow Kiara. It was a hot day, and he was looking foreward to wading in the water today.

" Fenrir's a bit scatter brained. But he's fast enough to be here by the time we get to the lake." While walking for a few minutes, Kiara sniffed the air and looked around. "We're almost there. It won't be much longer." After going around countless bushes and trees, she saw the dark blue of the lake." Here we are."

"Awesome." Lunar was the first one to dive into the water, but then she forgot to take a breath so she started to swim up, but then she saw something in the murky waters, not big at all, but fast.

Rhett grinned at the sight of it, and wadded in. He noticed a fast thing swimming through the water, and was puzzled "Hmm.."

Kiara just sat at the edge of the lake and watched them have their fun. Fenrir was at the bottom of the lake, bugging the little bugs and fish. He swam up and took a gasp of air." You guys finally showed up!"

Lunar laughed and swam towards the small fish that was swimming, it looked like a rainbow trout.

Rhett went down underwater. He smiled, there were so many different kinds of fish. His dark brown, black, and white fur swayed like seaweed underwater. He smiled at Lunar, who was watching a rainbow trout swim by. He then saw a silvery fish, and it was a huge salmon. He cocked his head as it swam by. It was nearly half the size of him.

Fenrir was getting tired so he got out of the water and shook until his coat was dry." OK, I'm done. Bye guys. Kiara, I'll be at the rock." Kiara noddedd" Bye Fenrir. Try not to get in any trouble."

Lunar smiled over at Rhett and swam to the surface. She gasped for air and doggy paddled back over to the shore.

Rhett swam around, and saw some smaller fish. He watched them, before bobbing to the surface.

Kiara stood up," You two look tired. You guys should go back to your packs. I'll see you wheneveer you feel like going to the rock. Or to make it more simple just howl." Walking away she looked back amd grinned once more.

Rhett smiled slightly at Kiara as she walked away, and paddled over to the waters edge. He stood up and shook off. "Yeah, see ya." he called after her.

Lunar smiled and sunbathed on the sand, "Phew, I went under for too long."

Rhett sat down near her "Yeah, but there were some cool fish down here." he commented.

Lunar nodded and looked back at Shatter, she just seemed to be sitting there... doing nothing.

Rhett followed her gaze, and shrugged "Spacing out?" he suggested. (xD)

"Maybe.." Lunar was almost dry now and she stood up and shook off the rest of the water/sand.

"Well...what now?" Rhett asked, and turned around to look at the trees behind them.

"I-I dont know actually." Lunar sat down, puzzled.

Rhett looked off at the slowly setting sun, and sighed. "We better find a good place to spend the night." he said after thinking a bit of what would be a nice safe and quiet place for them all to rest.
