The Forest Path

"Alright....hmm, whatcha want to do? I didn't really have anything in mind." he shrugged.

"You said a midnight stroll?" Lunar looked ahead.

"Well, yeah..where to though?" Rhett felt a little akward, but kept his cool, and walked on ahead.

Lunar felt the same way, but followed him. "Errr... i dont know."

shatter's ears pirked up, she didn't see anyone around her. she stretched and looked about, her lanky puppy legs carried her in a trot, following the scent of the wolves that left.

Lunar looked back and forth, she was nerveous and didnt know what to do.

"Uhhmmm...we could...swim? Or hunt again?" Rhett was trying to break the uneaisy silence.

Lunar whispered almost to herself, "Ill swim.." She ran towards the lake and stepped in the water.

Shatter let out a shrill puppy bark, something was wrong. the pup had stepped on a long moving rock, which wasnt a rock at all, but a snake. she began to run as fast as she could, but the poison set in and she collapsed in the tall weaving grass.

Lunar head the yelp, she ran to the direction it came from and almost stepped on Shatter, "Oh no, what happened!?" She scanned Shatters body, then soon came to the small snake bite. She picked Shatter up on her back and ran down to the closest river. While setting Shatter down, Lunar tasted the water to see if it was fresh, and it was. She stuck Shatters wound into the water and washed it off.

Rhett followed "Is there anything I can do??" he asked worridly.

River rose her head, hearing the commotion. Scrambling to her feet, she was off and watching the scene. Her eyes darted back and forth frantically, beginning to understand what was going on.

[I know they probably weren't that close but she was running for a bit, so. : P]

Lunar shrugged and licked the wound so none of the poison would tavel back in, "She will probably be sick for a while, but this will help."

Nodding, Rhett watched Shatter "Well, if there is anything, tell me." he said, wishing he could help.

Uindo-Odori watched from afar behind a rock,she had lost her pack to moutain lions some time ago. She whispered to herself,"I sure hope they won't attack if they find me.

((and i was here with a wolf, i think i named him kuji. Lets just say he was exploring and is just now returning. :3))

Kuji trotted up to the others,"This place is amazing!"

Uindo-Odori gasped,"Kuji? He was in the pack before the attack! I didn't know a pup that young could escape a huge mountain lion ambush!"

Shatter let out a shallow shuddering breath, her eyes sweezed shut. "M'okay." she exhaled sharply.

"Okay." Lunar looked around and sighed.

Rhett decided that she would need to get her strength back, so he went off to find Shatter some food. He soon came back with a large vole, and three small fish. It wasen't much, but it could certainly give Shatter strength.

A small wolf fell off a large rock into a small hole,"Darn it! I hate being small enough to do things like this!"

Shatter staggered to stand, she finally was able. "cmon, lets go. can we go somewhere else? please?"
