The Forest Path

The wind whistled again as another wolf crossed the forest.Her eyes shining while she trotted.Her slender legs almost flying over the ground.Her name was Redflare,a Blackblood..She had lost her memory a few days ago when she..well she didn't remember what happened before or if she had a pack or something..No she couldn't remember anything.Lost in thoughts Redflare saw up to the sky and smiled but that didn't last long.She stopped when she scented something.She took a deep wiff..It was a wolf.Unsure if she should take another step she stood still and her blue eyes scanned the forest.

Red saw up.A small breeze passed by letting the white tips on her hair thuft dance.She now saw a black silhouette at the other side of the path.Should she run?No..she'd stay..She'd even fight if it was necessary..but she hoped that that wouldn't happen.

The other wolf went a step backwards.

''My name..is..Redflare'' She said with an unsure voice.She sat down as well and stared at the female.Her ears stood up alert and her tail didn't move a bit.The gray female seemed to be nice but Red decided to be careful.

He was chasing after a deer, his paws quickly rising and falling as leaves scattered from under him. His lips were curled in a snarl, and he growled as the deer quickly got further and further away. It had been a long time since he had caught such large prey, and it looked like it was going to be longer still until he would catch some...The poor thing would have to stick to squirrels and birds for now, it seemed. He slumped down where he was, his rump hitting the dirt with a soft thud, and his tongue lolled out as he began panting, "...Stupid deer." he growled.

''Its nice to meet you t-''she gasped and turned around.Redflare stood up and saw to the grey female hoping she would follow her.With her head down she came near the male and looked at him ''say..are you okay?''She whispered.

His bright amber eyes shot up and he stood quickly, the fur on his neck rising. He looked between the two females and inwardly cursed himself for not being more observant. After a few moments, he quickly calmed himself, "...Yeah, I'm fine." he nodded. Then he looked around to see that the two of them were alone, "Say...where are your packs? ...You're not gonna' ambush me are you?" he asked quickly, his eyes darting around once more, and his fur rising yet again.

Another shadow appeared behind a tree without anyone else noticing, the shadow obviously belonged to a wolf, a female to be exact. She watched from a distance with wonder of what was going on. Her light blue eyes glowing from behind a tree. She got a little closer step by step to get a better view. She walked as silently as possible but she swept against a bush causing a slight rustle in the leaves. She knew she would be immediately noticed.

''I don't have a pack either..I think'' The female tried to remember and looked on the ground shutting her eyes..no..nothing there was just blackness.No memory of a pack or something like that..she must have been a loner all the time.The silence was broken by a noise..her ears snapped backwards as she turned around..there was a shadow by the bushes..

The red female stepped forward and looked toward the bushes..she was standing beside Lilac now.Unsure of what to do she saw over to Lilac and then to the bushes.Red pulled her muzzle up a bit,her ears still laid back she started growling deeply.

All of the sudden another wolf shot out of nowhere.Her ears twitched and she lowered her head for a second. ''We're surrounded'' she whispered,,her head rising again looking toward the blue stranger.

Red blinked..She wouldn't have thought that that wolf was harmless.''You were spying on us'' she said with a cold voice.Her tail wasn't moving a bit.Red saw to Lilac and then to the blue female again.She noticed her necklace..and stared at it for a bit but then shook her head and saw in her face again..

She stared at the blue wolf.She was sleeping up there?That's unusual for a wolf..''Hmm''Red looked around..''say..where's your pack,wolf?''she asked her voice still deep and serious.That wolf had to have a pack if she claimed this territory as her own..red thought.

Red opened her mouth to speak but the strangers fading smile and said nothing.She closed her mouth and sat down..''oh okay.....''

The female really wasn't a real threat for them..a small smile was on her face now and she sighted with relief.
