The Forest Path

Raph was slightly taken-aback by the question, "Umm..I don't think so, we just missed you is all" he said with a smile.

Oh... well I guess I'll see you later then. she thought to them and started off deeper into the Wolves of Myr territory.

"Bye and sorry River..." Mac added

River looked back in Mac's direction, Why was she so sad? There's nothing any of them could've done... she thought to herself and then continued forward.

"Lunar," repeated Tempest, "A nice name for a wolf."

"You as well?" asked Dusk to Fern, eyes widening in awe.

Quicksilver smiled half-kindly.
"A wolf is still a wolf." she replied cryptically.

"i agree." Shatter nodded.

"Thank you." Lunar bent down and drank out of te stream.

"Shall we go find the rest of our group?" she asked Shatter, implying that the she-wolf was now part of it. Without an answer, she began to pad away into the gloom, sniffing lightly and following the familiar scents.

Fern nodded, a small, dark smile on her bloodied maw. "Yes. I've been wondering these woods for ages, just trying to find more guardians.

"Interesting... Dawn and I have pretty much stayed in the same spot," replied Dusk, following her sister, whom was following Silver.

Fern stayed beside Dusk, a evil look in her eye. "That'd probably be the reason. I just found Quicksilver while searching for a home. At that time, I had pretty much given up on my quest."

"Most unusual, meeting another guardian outside the realm..." she thought fot a moment, "I've never been anywhere else besides this forest, and only a few parts of it. I...well, you could call it growing up, but I grew up here."

Fern nodded. "I don't know where I grew up... All my memories as a pup have been blood, violence, and death. I was basically just thrown into a torture pit, if you will." Fern explained.

Neon followed behind Silver and them

"So, where are you guys going?" Lunar looked up at Tempest.

Raph saw Silver and padded up towards them and walked beside her.
