The Forest Path

[errr wanna enter the spirit world or just be all WTF?]

[hmm, I'm not sure... but I was thinking... how about the dogs that can enter the spirit world can also listen to the thoughts of dogs that can't enter the spirit world, and they can also send thoughts to the others like River? Just an idea, if not, River'll just sit tight and go on adventures and stuff. xD]

Tempest huffed, annoyed, and turned around, suddenly lost. He sniffed around and began to walk in the opposite direction, completely clueless. He came to the edge of a spring and immediatly grinned; such bodies of water as this were stantioned at random intervals all over the forest; they were like looking glasses into reality. He looked down into the clear water and that padded it with his paw. The surface immediatly clouded and then, with the clarity of actually being there, showed an areal version of where he'd last been. But now there was someone else there, a familiar wolf.
"River!" Tempest exclaimed aloud.

"Huh?" River said, she thought she heard a familiar voice call her name. "Hello?" she said.
No answer. What was that? she thought.

Tempest heard her reply, clear as day, and was astounded. Effil hadn't given him much training on sightpools, just enuogh to know that he could see earth through them.
"River, can you here me? It's Tempest!" he called sort of awkwardly, bending down so that his nose almost touched the surface.

Tempest? River thought. Am I insane or is it really you?

"It's me!" shouted Tem, tail wagging, "I'm stuck in the spirit realm!"

Are Mac and Silver there, too? Same with Raph? she asked.

"Yeah, everyone's here!" he replied back, laying down so he was closer to the pool. "Where've you been?"

Sitting here, basically... but more importantly, where have you been? she answered.

"I've been stuck here! And then the others came to save me, and now we're on some quest to the DreamKing, and I'm speaking to you through a sightpool, a sort of window linking the realms." He knew it sounded crazy, but it was true.

Whoa.... River thought, all of that sounded so strange. Is everyone okay?

[errgg, sorry, I gotta go. >.< See you tomorrow, maybe ]

[me too! haha BYES!]

Lunar slowly followed Tempest, "Who are you talking to?" She looked at him awkwardly.

[-pokes Dusk-]

Raph's ears twitched, he thought he heard...River? He followed the voice until he found Tempest, "hey Tem, WHA!?" he eclaimed, seeing River clear as day in the pool, "River?.....River! Hey!" he called, looking deep into the pool.

Mac followed behind Raph but Neon stayed with Silver. Mac looked into the pool, "OH my gosh! I totally forgot about her! RIVER I"M SOOO SORRY!"

River laid her ears back, this was all a bit surprising. "Um... yeah... hi guys." River said with wide eyes, why were they so surprised? "And that's okay Mac, it's not like you could take me with you." River said calmly.

Mac sighed, the only reason she had forgotten about her friend was because she was so caught up in love with Tem, she still loved him dearly but she worried about River

Tempest wagged his tail at Luner, letting the other two speak with River.
"Decided to tell me your name yet?" he asked kindly, a cheeky edge to the grin he flashed.

"You are correct," she replied, "I'm one of the sisters of Old, though you probably already know that from the amount we say it." She grinned.

Well, is there anything at all I can do to help? she asked them.

Shatter shrugged at quicksilver. "im nothin much, no spirit stuffs. just a plain ol wolf warrior, same as my father and...um... Sea." She twitched nervously.

Fern smiled. "I'm also a spirit guardian." She said softly.

"Ehh.. oh yea.. Im Lunar." She slightly smiled and looked into the stream.
