The Forest Path

A roaring vibration flounced through the air, disturbing nothing but Quicksilver. She stopped, ears perked and blue-gray eyes a glowing greenish color. The last time she had felt that, it had been when Effil had died, and his soul had left his body. But no wolf could have died, not now! She sniffed slightly, tail erect and legs cocked in a flight position. No...not him! She raced back towards her body and, as she neared, she became aware of another soul escaped from the bodie's cage. There, in front of her, standing slightly to the side off of Rapheal's and her own motionless bodies, stood Raph. However, he was basically translucent, a ghostly color, and he had a glint of surprise in his eyes. But was he dead, or alive? Had he mastered the talent too, she wondered, the talent that Silver's wood seemed to leak of?
"R-Rapheal?" she called, padding more into view.

Mac looked up and could faintly see a figure two actually she looked closer but suddenly they disappeared.

Raph looked around as he softly heard his name, "Silver!" he said as he smiled and ran towards her. "wha-what happened, are we dead?" he asked, this had never happened to him before, and though he had wierd colouration he thought he was just normal.

"ok, this is officially freaking me out now." Fera clenched her teeth as raphiel fell to the ground. what the heck was happening?

Silver laughed, low and deep; it reverbated through the forest like fairy giggles [idk?].
"No, Raph, we're not dead. We're not not not dead in the most possible sense. We're the highest possible form of being alive actually!" She grinned, wagging her tail slightly. Someone to share the power with, someone to walk invisible among the forest with, to watch the pack and guest-wolves in the territory, someone to be with, finally, here. "Rapheal, you've mastered a gift that took me quite a bit of time to master, and I learned it from someone who had been practicing the art for many, many moons. We -you- have seperated body and soul, and in doing so, you've created an invincible realm to roam through, invisible to the eye!" She knew she should be explaining it more thoroughly, more seriously, but the fact that there was another like her was just to fantastic to bear keeping a straight face.

(Uh would you mind is Mac did the spirit thing to? I don't want to copy you....but I want her to be like that as well...) Mac looked up looking for their presence she knew deep down that they weren't dead! She just couldn't figure out what it was though...

Raph stood open-mouthed as Silver spoke, "wow, all I did was concentrate, I was so sad about you 'dying ' that I just felt like leaving the earth and I guess I kinda did" Raphael said with a nervous laugh and a glance at his still body. He walked up to Silver and nuzzled her with his head, "I'm so glad you're Ok" he said smiling and looking into her eyes.

Fern's expression was unreadable as she looked ahead over the two bodies. Her maw was bloodied again, or was it the same crimson liquid as before? Not even she knew. Shaking her thin head, she was silent, though, her mind was telling her otherwise.

Fern, with all due respect, ditch these fleabags. You are better than them.

But that would be cruel.

So?! NEWFLASH! You are cruel.

But... I don't want to.

River danced and sang quietly to herself, not joyfully, not joyfully at all. It was rather eerie, she was confused, and she didn't care. If there was an attack and everyone died, she wouldn't care. She was very confused, she didn't know what to do. She wasn't scared, not one bit, but as she danced and sang a lonely feeling grew bigger inside her, she had the urge to kill something, or someone. This was not anything like River, what had come over her. All of a sudden she dropped to the ground. She looked up to the sky, the other wolves wouldn't see her, she was further in their territory. She kept singing and looked up at the clouds, she wiggled like a dance too, but her eyes were blank. Nothing, no pupil, no color. They were plain white.

(( Something's going on with River, it's not the fury. And it's not what Silver and Raph are experiencing... something different. c: W00T SCAREH!! 8D Man this roleplay is turning eerie. C8 ))

ooc: sure Mac if you like. lol I'm glad it sparked people's interest. i was, at first, going to have it just be silver's power, but i think silver's power [hence markings and necklace] is going to be either speaking to the dead or speaking to other animals. anyone wanna give me an inkling which one I should take? : ]

"I'm glad you are too. At first, I thought that maybe..." she trailed off and returned Raph's nuzzle, adding, "It's just so amazing that you didn't even have to concentrate on letting your soul leave for it to react." Her silvery gray tail wagged furiously.

(I think you should choose speaking to the dead as I think in most roleplays different species can talk to eachother, also that would be interesting with Silver's lost mate )

Raph smiled, "yeah, this has never happened to me before, so what can you do?" he said with a playful wag of his tail.

She bounded off for a moment, stopping to look over her shoulder most mysteriously.
"Anything you want." she stated, before turning and loping off again, waiting for Rapheal to follow.

[ooc: yep, oh and Effil's not a dead mate. He was Silver's teacher, and he gave her the necklace before he died, an old hermit. ^^]

Raph was fascinated by Silver and followed, mesmirised by his attraction to her. He ran like he had never ran before, he was carefree and light. He laughed happily and looked at Silver running alongside him and smiled.

[ooc: tis okay, i wasn't really sure of their relation either, but after i got her power down i knew that she needed a teacher not a mate to talk to lol. besides, she has Raph to worry about, right?]

Quicksilver ran, very carefree, taking only slight interest in dodging trees. Most she floated right through, her soul reappearing on the other side midlaughter. She looked at Rapheal and smiled; this is what it meant to be a wolf.

She stopped as they hit a clearing, slowing to a stop and breathing in the deep midafternoon fresh air. She looked around and grinned: this was the prettier part of Silver's Wood. The sky was a deep, endless blue, few clouds like tufts of white fur floating lazily; the grass a bright sunbleached wheat color and as long as a wolves tail, swishing gently in the breeze. "So beautiful," Silver said, sighing happily.

(Hehe yes ^^)

Raphael came to a halt next to Silver, he was not breathless from the long run and felt fantastic. He looked into Silver's eyes, "yes you are" he said without thinking then checked himself, "err...I'm sorry" he said looking away, he had forgotten for a moment that she was Alpha wolf and he, well, *he laughed* he was a nobody.

[-bursts out laughing- are you a sucker for romance too? I know I am.]

Quicksilver blushed, though it was hardly noticable in her dense fur. She had never thought herself as pretty, only as a functional, rather fast-paced wolf who could tear her jaws into anything that got in her way.
"Don't be," she said, catching his eye and forcing him to look at her. She was surprised once more at her own words, and found herself saying, quite truthfully, "For you are the most handsome wolf I've ever seen."
