The River in the Forest

Sara didn't exactly have manners and wasn't so polite. She just dug in and let blood fly everywhere..

"Haha!!" Nikki laughed at Sara. For some reason that just made her laugh. Blood didn't bother her.

Raph smiled at Nikki's enthusiasm, "I guess we should go back and see if the others want some food, theres still plenty left" he said before standing and stretching.

"Oh yeah.." Nikki realized with a smile on her face. She had forgot there were others, her mind was so focused on what had just happened.

Raphael laughed a little at Nikki's expression and began to make his way back towards the river.

[ooc: Uh, guys. Just a little heads up... Nikki already has a mate. But she always likes more friends!!]

Nikki started forward, and then waited for Sara.

(its Sara XD but don't worry I do that all the time XD)

Sara followed Nikki and Raph but she stopped. "I think I am going to stay and make sure nothing comes to steal our catch, ok?"

(AAAHHHGG lol sorry *fixes it*)

"Oh, okay then." Nikki said.

Sara walked back and lay sat down next to the two deer they had brought down. She looked around alert with her ears perked up and her eyes watching every single thing possible.

Tem slunk up to Sara, he had wandered off into the forest to dry off a little and get some more exercise when he had heard the sounds and come to his new friend's aid.
"Hey Sara," he said, walking up to her slowly, "Mind if I have some, of course after you have had your fill." He waited patiently, an easy-going smile on his face and tail wagging slightly.

Sara shot up in surprise and barked ferociously. She stopped and just stared at Tem. "Uh....I..er...sorry about that." She looked away embarrassed, "I thought you were a, uh, threat of some sort.Anyway, yeah sure you can have some! I'm just here to guard I've already eaten." She smiled.

Tem stepped back, tail and ears down in alarm, but when she apologized he smiled again.
"Sorry to surprise you, and thanks!" He plunged in, tail wagging as fresh meat flew down his gullet.

Mac sat down and smiled. She kept herself at work by watching everything closely making sure no dangers came by.

Raph turned and growled to see Tem, he quickly regained composure and walked back over to the meat.

Nikki started to trot of further away. She sat in front of the trees and stared into the forest. It was very nice. All of a sudden, she saw a shadowy figure walking toward her. Then it turned into a trot, and then a run. That thing was running straight at her!! She slowly backed up as it got closer, not knowing what to think about it. But as it got closer the colors and markings on it's pelt became more visible. "Nikki!" the figure called in a familiar voice. This puzzled Nikki, but the canine was becoming more familiar to her. Finally the canine came to a halt in front of her. Nikki knew his face. "...Scotch...? Is that... you?" she asked the dog-like canine. He nodded and smiled, Nikki smiled as well. "How did you find me?" she asked him. "I was searching.. for quite a long time." he told her. "Well," she smiled. "This is our 'pack' thing over here." she pointed to the other wolves by the deer. "I believe there's more than that, but I'm not so sure. Would you like to join us?" she asked Butterscotch. Butterscotch looked over at the wolves."Uh.. sure!" he said happily. "Okay." Nikki said and wagged her tail, "Follow me," she said and started off. Butterscotch walked at her side, and they both sat down watching Mac watch for threats, and Tem eat the deer.

((lol big. xD Butterscotch is Nikki's mate. So um... yeah. ^^))

Sara cocked her head, "Who might this be?" She looked at butterscotch.

((( AGGG DANGIT imma idiot *smacks forehead* ))

"Oh, this is Butterscotch," Nikki said. "Right," Scotch said and nodded.
"Is it alright if he stays with us?" Nikki asked.

"I don't care" Sara said simply

(Its ok XD I do it alllll the time!)

Nikki felt a bit offended by Sara's reply, but she assumed that she didn't mean it.

Sara then realized he words were a bit heartless and careless (Obviously XD) "Uh..sorry...I'm not exactly the most polite wolf around." She said with a bit of an embarrassed laugh. "Sure he can stay! I wouldn't mind.." She tried to sound a bit nicer with that.

Nikki smiled at Sara and said, "Okay, great!!" her tail wagged. Butterscotch looked around at the forest, it was so big. Large birds flew through the air, and squirrels jumped trees. There was so much life out there.

Sara smiled and was relieved that she fixed her mistake.

Scotch walked over to a large tree and lay down, right against the trunk of it. He was pretty tiered. Nikki just stood there for a second, and a large bird swooped down close to ground. When it was about to fly past her, she jumped high and fast and caught it between her jaws! Then she walked over to Sara with the dead male bird in her mouth and asked, "Should we add this to the collection?" as she looked down at the doe and fawn.

"Sure why not?" Sara said enthusiastically.

Nikki smiled and threw the bird onto the pile. Her tail wagged gleefully, she loved it there.
