The River in the Forest

Tempest also stood and shook himself off, laughing.
"That was great!" he said clearly, tongue hanging out. "But who'se it now?"

"I don't know" Mac shrugged

"I think it was....ME!" he shouted and pushing Mac over playfully and bounding away through the trees.

"AAAH!" Mac fell down and then popped up. "Dangit!" She said and then she dove onto Tem

"No!" he barked, scrambling up and chasing after Raphael. "Come back here!"

Raph laughed as he looked back over his shoulder.

Mac follow Tem who was following Raph

Raph continued to run, staying close to the pack though.

Nikki and Butterscotch watched the three pack members play and run. Nikki smiled and then sniffed the air, hoping to catch a scent of some deer.

Raph slowed to a stop, "did you hear that" he asked Butterscotch and Nikki, he got low to the ground, twitching his ears, the wolf heard and smelled deer nearby.

Butterscotch twitched his ears and nodded at Raph. He slowly began walking forward.

Raphael crawled forwards as the pack made a silent ambush and surrounded a young doe.

Nikki glanced over at Butterscotch, and he nodded slightly, it almost looked like he didn't move at all. Then he lunged at the doe and grabbed a part of it's neck. The doe ran around, trying to get free of Scotch's grip. It finally swung Scotch off, and then Nikki growled and grabbed it's leg. "Someone take it down!" she yelled.

Mac dove out and mauled the doe in the neck, throwing it to the ground. Sara came out and dove at its stomach

The doe was dead. Nikki smiled with a bloody grin. Scotch ran over and ripped a piece off of it to eat, and Nikki did the same.

Mac and Sara smiled. Mac waited for their alpha's to take their share and then she dove in, Sara was not that far behind Mac.

Raph let go of the doe's hind leg and licked at the blood around his muzzle, he panted heavily and waited respectfully for the Alphas to finish first.

Scotch quickly finished his, and then Nikki finished shortly after.

mac finished quickly, being a messy slob that she is, and sat down. She yawned, blood soaked her teeth, mouth, muzzle, and all down her chest and paws.

Sara, being a tad more polite, at in small bits and when she finished she only had some blood on her muzzle and mouth

Raph took his share, a leg, and took it a little way from the kill site, gnawing at the meat. After he had finished,he returned to the rest of the group and cleaned himself, grinning at Tem,"still didn't catch me slow-poke" he said, chuckling and licking a paw.

Mac took the challenge into her own hands and dove up on Raph, "HAHA!"

Raph tumbled and rolled until he landed on his stomach. "Umph, ow, gerroff me you big lump!" he said as Mac landed heavily on his back.

[ok ok...i know that I posted that Mac got off of Raph and tackled tem....]
