Comet Mountain

"A bear?" Peirce saw it bleeding from the neck, but all the blood covered the wounds.

Melia romped up,"What that?"

"Melia, I dont want you over here right now, its not good. Go find somewhere safe really quick in our cave." Peirce said quickly.

Melia headed toward the cave,"Okay..."and ran off.

Peirce was still staring at the large cat. "What should we do?"

Bolt had over heard the conversation and walked up,"Woah! What the heck? Whatever killed that must be on the loose. Shouldn't Rush's mate be heavily guarded just in case?"

Rush senced trouble and got up, he cooly walked toward the others. "what's going on?" he asked seriously.

inertia was basking in the sun, oblivious to all else. he caught a movement at the edge of the meadow from the corner of his eye. a huge shadow had moved in the trees, inertia decided to ignore it and lay his head back down.

Peirce explained about how they found it, "IceFire saw it and I saw her so I came to see and the thing that killed it was gone!"

Bolt's eyes widened for he had seen the shadow inertia saw,"Whoa, okay scratch that, alpha female needs guarding now!"

Icefire starred at it "Get everyone in the den, NOW. I'm going to lead them the other way." she said, and shot off into the woods.

Peirce jumped in front of her, "Were not risking one of the females. Rush, find someone to search the aea for anything suspicious."

"You don't need to worry, Im fast, and I've delt with these things before." Icefire insisted.

"Well Im coming with you then." Peirce nodded and stepped forward.

Bolt step forward,"I want to help." A face so serious, he waited for a reply.

"Uhm, you havent earned that privelige yet, you can watch Melia." Peirce nodded over to the cave.

Bolt growled,"I want to help." fur bristled a bolted off in the direction of the creature.

Rush furiously grabbed icefire by the ear and threw her to the ground. "LISTEN, I CALL THE SHOTS HERE. OKAY? AND I SAY WE STAY IN THE OPEN SO WHATEVER THAT THING IS CANT CORNER US!!!!!" he pressed his forehead against hers, yellow eyes meeting (whatever color icefires eyes are)

Peirce stepped back, "Yes Rush.." She put her ears back and stared at him and Icefire.

Inertia saw the commotion and stood, Rush began to pad toward him.

Icefire pushed her ears back and sat down, a bit of fear shone in her eyes, and she nodded quickly "Fine."

Inertia faced Rush, "whats wrong?"
"i dont know, just keep in the meadow. were waiting"

Peirce followed Rush over to Inertia, "Theres something out there, something big."

Bolt zoomed back, blood on his muzzle,"Okay brave time gone, there are a bunch of them."

Icefire still was stunned at how Rush yelled at her, and kept silent. She sat down and gazed into nothingness.
