IDITAROD TRAIL

Queeny ran from a black wolf keeping in the lead,"What the heck is his problem, i was minding my own business!"
She notice the others,"Anyone care to help?"

The black wolf gained speed as he ran thinking,stupid human creation i will kill you!

Navaho smiled. He was glad somebody agreed with him " Thanks Light. That will do us good. If they cause you any trouble, tell them Navaho will deal with them when he comes back. " he smiled " Ok, Maizy, should unhook you now? " he wispered.

"Yes, please!" Maizy smiled widely.

Navaho clamped his teeth on and pulled the buckle loose. He tugged the harness off of her " Hurry, now me! " he said in a hushed tone.

"Right," she said and did the same, setting him free from the harness. "3...2..." she started to count down. "...1!" she said and ran off to the side.

Light smiled as they left and faced forward, as if nothing happened

Navaho shot after her " Ok, lets get to Blue! " he had a big grin on his face as he howled to her, hopeing she would howl back to show himmmm about how far she was from them.

Nuli growled and grabbed Maizy's tail, "Your not leaving!"

Navaho turned and growled, biting Nuli on the nose " Shut up and go back to sleding! " he hissed.

Nuli growled and let go, she bit at Navaho and grabbed his ear.

Navaho shoved her down, and nudged Maziy out of her reach. He started to run, and watched the sled drag Nuli out of the way.

Nuli hopped up and barked at the musher, he had stopped the sled and started running after Maizy and Navaho. Grabbing them by the collars, he hooked them back up to the sled. "Dont you go running off again," He said to them.

Light grunted and looked at them.

Blue heard the howl again then she thought What are they doing? They are in the middle of a race.. She shook her head, knowing that it would be her fault if they lost the race or got in trouble. She then attempted to stand again, this time it was slightly easier but her legs were stiffer. Her body ached but she trudged along in the snow, leaving a trail of fresh and dry blood on the snow. She blinked as the snow hit her eyes and shivered from pain and cold. She tried licking a wound but that only made the one on the back of her head hurt more. She kept moving, slowly and tiredly

Navaho growled " Thanks alot! " he snarled at Nuli. Then he looked at Maziy " We need to get unhooked again, and run as fast as we can away so that he cant catch us! " he wispered in her ear.

Light kept the pace going, thinking about the consequences.

Navaho turned to Light " I-I uhhh...so try to cover for us and stop the musher as best you can to keep them from getting to us. Don't worry, your not doing it for nothing, I'll pay you back! " he wispered.

"We can't," Maizy said. "Don't you get it? We cannot pull this off! They'll be right after us again. And besides, we really shouldn't betray the team."

" I know...but I feel so bad...I f only we could exsplain to the musher.." he glanced back at him.

Maizy nodded but then stopped, "Impossible," she remarked shortly.

Navaho nodded and kept going " At least we tried..."

Queeny ran from a black wolf just a bit ahead of him,"What do you want from me?!? Hey other dogs, help me?!!!"

Navaho looked ahead " We can't! Stuck on these STUPID harnesses! .." he yelled.

"Sorry, kid. You're on your own!" Maizy called to Queeny.

Queeny stopped in her tracks for a few knowing when to run again,"Thanks for nothing..."she looked behind and saw the wolf and his pack closing in *what to do what to do!* She started digging and kicked a rock at the wolf to slow him down. She began to run again and was forced to turn Maizy's way,"Care to join?"

"Care to join what?!" Maizy seemed startled. "We're in the middle of a sled-race, here!"
