Here I Lie- A Dog roleplay

[lol a'ighty then. x3]

"Um, okay." Riley stared at Cinnamon.

Cinnamon looked around,"He is gone...right?"

[But hey Glass, do you mind if we don't have any animal minions tamed from the zoo? I don't want anything really super out-of-the-ordinary on this roleplay, if you don't mind. :/]

[[Fine...then never mind...]]

[Well, he could have some other body-guard dogs if you'd like.]

"Don't think so...." Drew mutterd and looked around.

[[ok lancey let's just say she said that to make them not want to help so they don't get sucked in.]]

[Alright, if that's what you're okay with. ^^]

Riley got up and headed for the exit, "Well, I'm gonna go check on Jackson." she said and climbed outside. She looked around and pulled her cap over her head as the wind blew. "Jack?" she called. There was no answer, only the wind whirling wildly around her.

Cinnamon finally came out,"Is he ok......where is he?"

"I don't know," Riley said, but she wasn't worried. She walked into the driveway of the backyard and pushed the gate open. She started down the driveway and then turned and stood on the front lawn. She saw Jack's hat hanging on the wind chimes that were hanging over the porch. She raised an eyebrow and sniffed around on the porch.

Drew followed " Dose he usually do this..? " he looked around the desserted subdivision.

Riley lifted her head from the porch floor, "No, no he doesn't..." she thought out loud. Then she let out a loud, long howl. It seemed to echo in the uninhabited suburbs. She flicked her ears forward and listened for a response. There was a howl, and it was certainly Jackson's. "C'mon, let's go get 'em." she said and started down the sidewalk.

Cinnamon followed a little bit behind.

Drew stood and walked alongside Riley " Where is he..? " Drew listened. He could hear movement not far off, and could smell a dog.

"I don't know, but there's no reason for him to be away from home, even if it was a trick, he wouldn't have howled back." she said. She finally reached a heavily forested area, and with Jackson's scent, she could tell he was close by. She barked, waiting for a response. But it was silent, "It's awfully quiet around these parts..." she said and then walked deeper into the forest.

Drew smelt around " I live here...well close to here. It's got more predators than a usual forest, but otherwise its a nice place to live I guss..." he breathed in the farmilar sent of pine, and walked on, into the woods.

"Hmmm," Riley nodded and padded through the forest. She then stopped and saw a shadow. "Jack?!" she barked. No reply. Two shady figures burst out of the brush around them. The larger and older one tackled Riley, "Jakeb, get the other one!" he called to his partner. Jakeb snarled and pushed Drew to the ground with his paw against Drew's neck. "GET OFF ME!" Riley ordered and squirmed under Malic's firm hold.

Drew growled and threw the dog off " My god, what the heck is your problem!!" he threw him into the other one and went to help Riely up.

Cinnamon watched horrified,"What are you doing?!?"she growled. She head butted the one off Riley,"Get lost!"

"You ok?" Drew said, slightly out of breath.

Cinnamon looked around paranoid that they would come back,"I'm fine, they didn't notice me. Riley are you okay?"

Drew looked at Riely "You ok?" he asked her, eyes filled with worry and anger.

Malikk ran up and bashed Cinnamon out of the way and then threw Drew into Riley. "HEY!" Riley snarled. Jakeb caught Malikk's eyes and they both nodded. Jakeb then ran back into the forest.

Drew got to his feet quickly "Sorry.." he turned and snarled as the other dog ran away.

"That's fine," Riley muttered, then she stood up. "AFTER HIM!" she yelled and charged past Malikk, who let her go with a sly grin on his face. Jakeb was agile and swift, he weaved easily through the trees and darted down into a den. "Tell them you know us!" Jakeb snapped at the shadowy figure in the back. "Why..?" it asked. "You do it or I'll snap your neck." Jakeb threatened. The figure didn't say anything, but it put its head on the ground. Jakeb whipped around waiting for them to burst in at any moment.
