Clawed Savannah - A Cheetah Roleplay

Okay, My Cheetah rp. And since I LOVE to have vibrant charries, these cheetahs can be magical and have wings, bright colors, etc.

They have enemies... Hyenas, Lions, Hyenas....xD

Wing crouched low in the tall blades of dry grass, watching her prey with bright blue eyes.
'Almost there....'
She snarled and leaped, startling the heard of gazelle before her. The brown white and black creatures quickly began their fast bound in a attempt to escape, but it was to late. Wing was already next to them. Pouncing on the large female a few paw-steps ahead of her, she quickly ended its life with a swift nip to its neck. "Food for tonight and tomorrow." She stated proudly before dragging her fresh-kill to a secluded spot.

[may I come in as a female lioness, my character Fayola? She's a friendly loner...]

A figure lay on a rock. She was a golden-bronze color, with bright, vivd green eyes. A long feline's tail twitched and hit the surface every few minutes or so, its owner widely bored with her surroundings. This was Fayola's territory, this plain and some of the forest. She had claimed it when no other would, back in a dry rainy season as a cub, when it seemed to be a desert. But it had grown, and moistened, and now was a desirable place for everything. But Fayola was bored. She stood up, the bottom half of her legs dusted the same vivid green color fading to black paws. And her tail, three or four bottle green stripes at it's end, standing out amongst her over all bronze color. She was exquisite. Around her neck hung a leather string, and the amulet , an emerald in the shape of a crescent moon, glittered in the sunlight.

Emerald eyes spotted movement; a cheetah..in her territory? The lioness shook off her mysterious, serious mood for one of friendliness and unbound excitement, leaping from her rock to bound over to the intruder. O new friend for Fay?

The thin feline froze as animal-larger than her-approached her. Tossing her new kill under a large bush, she turned around and saw a lone lioness approaching. The black and white cheetah stayed where she was, whole body erect, preparing to speed off if necessary. Muscles rippled under her thin pelt, and giraffe-like spots covered her entire black fur. Her tail had one long white streak, and her tail was tipped with neon blue. Her paws had unusual long claws (Longer than normal, anyway.) , which were the same color as her tail tip. Deep yellow eyes scanned her surrounding, wandering if it was an ambush of some sort.

Jareth walked through the dense undergrowth. The lion had travelled for a long time and had never been in a more wondrous place as this, he was full grown and had a magnificent bi-colour, red and brown mane. His pelt was a lovely deep red that faded gradually into black down his legs, but his paws were white as Ivory. Jareth shook his mane lightly, then he heard rustling, he was not afraid, as he was one of the largest and most ferocious predators around. He strode purposefully toward the sounds, his brows set in a light frown, as they often were.

Fayola stopped a few feet away from the cheetah looking her over and noticing the odd markings, like her own.
"Greetings," she said happily, a silly grin on her face in place of a seroius one. "What's yer name?"

The cheetah instantly relaxed at the sound of the friendly voice. "My name is Wing. What do felines around here call you?" She said, still a bit cautious. Lions were nearly as sly as cheetahs, and Wing had figured that out the hard way MANY, many times.

Jareth growled deeply, making the ground beneath him vibrate slightly, "Hyenas?" he said quietly to himself,as he heard more than one voice, he hated hyenas with a passion. The red lion leapt out at the pair, roaring, but stopped mid's leap, causing him to land heavily on his paws. "Oh I'm so sorry" he said hurredly, afterall, he wasn't a merciless killer, just misunderstood with a hot temper to match. "Err thought you were hyenas" he said embarresedly to the two younger females.

Wing smiled at the male. "I'll try not to take that as an insult." The odd-ball cheetah said, a small smile on her face. Her tail twitched a little. "Well, I have to go. Prey to hunt, hide, it goes on and on. Care to join me?" She asked, the question directed to both lions.

Jareth nodded silently, it had been a while since the lion had had company, apart from hyenas.

Fayola, surprised at the male's sudden entrance, looked back at Wing.
"The name is Fayola," she replied, "and this is my territory...I don't really have felines calling me things nowadays." She gave a beaming grin, "However, I do know the perfect spot for a little tag-team gazelle hunting." She eyes glittered mischeviously.

Wing smiled. "Really? Hunting is getting harder and harder by every dry season...." She exclaimed, a wispy look on her face.

"Don't I know it," replied Fayola, "When I first claimed this oasis, it was as dry as the desert. But I soon learned that it was because of the overpopulated gazelles, whom were not only eating all the food and killing over other species, but were also consuming large amounts of water in the wet season and dry season. After a few hunts, of course, things became better, and now look at this place." It was practically teeming with life, breath-takingly beautiful, and, most of all, seemed peaceful.

Wing smiled. "I apologize for intruding on your land, but this is where I grew up. My mother, father, and littermates have always lived here." She said hoarsely, a small smile on her face.

Jareth stood, patiently listening to the others, a small frown on his features.

Fayola's dark green eyes grew cold for a second, and then turned friednly once more.
"No matter, " she said with a grin, "Let's go then, shall we?"

Wing nodded, waving her long wispy tail at Jareth. "Do you want to come?" She asked, a raspy purr rumbling deep in her throat.

Jareth looked from Cheetah to lion, this was very strange but the lonely male wasn't complaining, "err..sure, if you don't mind, that is?" talking more to Fayola as this was her territory.

Wing smiled and ran ahead, only a few feet from a large herd of gazelle. "I'm having dinner tonight." She meowed playfully.

Jareth smiled slightly at the playful cheetah.

Her long tail swished in the air before jumping at the herd. There were plenty of other herds, so she had room to tease her kill.

[I might not be on for a couple of days. Tell me what happens. Bye!]

Fayola took this as the 'signal' and jumped in, weaving in and out of the frightened animals, she snapped and growled as she pleased, on the search for a sick or weak animal; she never killed anything healthy unless the whole herd was. Sure enough, just ahead stood an elder, eyes wide. Fay grinned and lunged towards it, green eyes sparkling, and the gazelle was off, Fay chasing after it happily.

Wing quickly caught up to Fayola, a wild grin on her face as she snapped at the old gazelle's flicking tail. Laughing giddily, she waved her tail. "Come on!"

Fayola growled in reply, she did not have the speediness of Wing, but she had more power in her weapondry. She took a large leap and managed to leave deep gouges in the gazelle's haunches.
"Your turn!" she called to Wing.
