Kefir smiled as the men ran away, once again, and walked over to sit by Fayola. "What did that human show you" he asked looking into her soft, golden face.

Tex sat down and panted, watching the humans run.

"few..." Ash said with relief

Fayola shivered lightly and blinked before returning Kefir's gaze.
"I...I dunno. It looked like that shiny rock we have to return to the volcano, only smaller, and in the shape of the moon at its crescent. It...there was something definitely strange about it. Do you remember the gypsy?" The rock had had that smae magical hold upon her heart as the older woman had, and it made Fayola's spine shiver.

Decker sat down near Tex and smiled " Did we show them! " he laghed at the men running away terrified in the distance....

Tex chuckled at Decker's comment, watching the men become smaller and smaller as they got further away.

"Yeah, we sure did!" Ash said quickly

" Well, we should keep going," Decker said getting up

Kefir's face became concerned, "yes, and I didn't like it, the fact that someone can control you" he said before smiling, "but it'll be ok" he said placing his forepaw around Fayola's shoulder's in a lion-hug.

[aww lion hug!]

Fayola nodded before standing up, sighing.
"Why don't we find someplace safe to spend the night, and begin again in the morning?" she said, much more serious than usual, for her legs were aching from exhaustion and her breath was slightly ragged; eyes drooping, she didn't feel so happy as she usually did.

Kefir's smile vanished as the thought of sleep made him aware of his extreme exhaustion and the dull, throbbing pain in his injured foreleg. "I can't argue with that, why don't we sleep in the cave I was in earlier?" he asked, limping slightly as he slowly walked towards it, waiting for the other tired lion.

Tex yawned, showing that he was tiered too, and turned to look at the others. "Where should we sleep?" he asked them.

Kefir looked at Tex, "over in that cave where I was earlier" he said smiling, "oh and thanks for helping me out today" the big lion added.

Tex looked over at Kefir, "Oh, okay." he smiled. "And no problem"

"I'll follow you," Fay replied to Kefir, before grinning at Textyl. "Even doggies get tired sometime, eh?" she said jokingly.

Ash ran up to everyone and thanked them as well

Tex chuckled and nodded at Fay and then turned and smiled at Ash. Then he turned back and waited for Kefir to lead.
