Pleasant Lake- a herding dog RP

Fell caught her gaze and stared into it, his green orbs like two jade stones that seemed deeper than an abyss. For what seemed like eternity, or few seconds, he stood there, stock still, even though his body was in enormous pain. It was what a fox did when faced with an outsider.
"...yes, Daisy, you may. The forest will welcome you with open paws. But come, we have to find shelter before I collapse." he added with a spark of the mischief he was used to. He turned to walk off, but suddenlt turned his head to stare at Daisy again. "However, if you speak of where I am about to show you to any other being, you will face my claws, and I assure you, once a fox has a grudge, he NEVER let's go of it." With that he walked on, shaking slightly from pain and cold.

"I know what you mean..." Daisy said softly, "Do you need help? I could carry you or support you if you need me to.."

Fell bristled. He may have accepted Daisy into his crew, or what ever you called a lone fox and a mutt, however he refused to accept help from a dog. Never. Not. Ever.

"If, if you could just uh, stay close in case I keel over?" he said.

[yes, pun intended]

"YOU!" SOH turned and followed feather out of the barn, in the pouring rain. while fell was conversing with feather and daisy, she stopped in a stoop in the grass. she would only have one shot at this, She narrowed her eyes and charged full speed at the fox, her strong chest heaving with exitment. she leaped. gliding through the air like an arrow, landing cleanly inches away from the fox. she snapped up the scruff of his neck in her teeth and took off toward the woods. she knew exactly where to get rid of him.

"Wait! SOH!!" Sherbert dashed out to follow her, "What are you doing!!"

"Leave me alone, SHerbert. I know what im doing!" SOH ran through the forest in the rain.

Sherbert stopped, the rain got her coat all wet. "ok.." she whisperd.

SOH's intensity was so high, everything around her seemed to turn all blurry. she was headed toward a cliff further into the mountains, then she skidded to a halt when a wall of fire stopped her in her tracks.

Daisy turned and let out a loud vicious bark if I ever see you again SOH and you are attacking ANYONE, I will kill you! she thought to herself

Max picked at the cast and ripped it off, his leg had healed over the past four weeks and he charged after SOH with a feeling of weightlessness and strength that he had never felt before he growled at Feather and Daisy as he streaked after SOH and the fox she was carrying with amazing speed.

Daisy said to Feather, "I'm going after them!" She darted out and chased down Max she sped into the forest SOH's sent strong in her nose..

((Um...SOH took Fell. xD))

((Whoops ^^; sorry, I got a bit confused...)

Feather barked loudly and raced after SOH. She wasn't far behind, and her mother's side took over as she grabbed SOH's tail and tossed her aside before grabbing Fell and running off in the direction of his home.

(Psss...there is a fire there, SOH was already at Fells home I think...so say your heading a different way)

Daisy followed Feather close behind..

[whoa! poor Fell! Mac, you're actually incorrect the fire was where fell had stayed out of the rain for the night. He abandoned his old home after mostly everyone saw it. ohkay. here we go!]

"Put me down!" he growled at Feather, twisting out of her jaws. He fell with a thud on the wet ground and, with tremendous force, picked himself up again, shaking the mud off of his fur. "That is the last time I give SOH a break!" He growled, eyes narrowed to emerald slits. "I think its time I called some...reinforcements." Fell never became truly angry, he was much more of a playful guy. But Every fox has one specific weakness, and that is fury. He felt the rage melt over him like liquid fire, pouring into every muscle, every joint, every fiber of his being. He raced off with newfound energy, ignoring the stabbing pain on his burns and sctratches. Reaching the top of a small ledge, he called into the night, much like a wolves howl or foxes mating call, and long, loud screech of pain and vengence. The foxes call. Every foz within a three miled radius would perk their ears and hear it, every fox for three miles would come to the aid of their bretheren. It was war.

Daisy looked at Fell in complete shock, "Whats going on!" She yelled to Fell hoping he would hear.

He did, and he turned to her, looking quite the sight. Most of his hair was matted down, but along his back it had risen in the fury. His green eyes were still slits, and his teeth were bared.
"If SOH wants a fight," he called down to her in a growling tone, "then she'll get one. It's about time the fozes stood up for themselves. I-" His words were cut off a flock of replying calls echoed through the rain with suernatural force like the call of angels. They were all around them, and for a moment they blocked out the sound of thunder.
"See?" Fell called, eyes triumphant, "Even now foxes from across the forest are coming. SOH will get her battle, don't worry, and it'll be a battle to end all battles." He laughed, high and cruel. Leaping down form the ledge and in front of Daisy, he said, "Now all you have to decide is which side you're on." Before turning tail and leaping away into the night, calling the way as he went for the many foxes to join.

[two things. one, anyone want to double as a fox? and two, yeah, I know, Mac, I don't know what SOH's thinking but then again, none of us know what the other's thinking.]

Daisy didn't know what to do! SOH was her friend...but so was Feather and now Fell (Sort of) she decided to sit and wait and decide once the fight starts...

Blizzard shot out of her little den she followed the call and came towards Fell, "Fell, what do you wish from us?" she said in a mischievous voice...

[Sure I'll play as another fox (Blizzard) and yeah...its kind of hard to see whats going to happen to just forget about the whole fire thing...]

"Blizzard!" he said sort of happily, surprised to see a childhood friend. His face became grave again as he remembered why she was here.

"Its nice to see you Fell!" Blizzard said happily, then she turned and said in a more serious voice, "So whats going on?"

Daisy came over and introduced herself, "Hi I'm Daisy!" she said in a low yet welcoming voice...

Blizzard stared at the dog and let out a snarl

Daisy looked at her a bit shocked and then she said quickly, "NO NO I'm a friend....ask Fell.." she pointed her nose to him

Fell stepped forward a bit between the two females just in case, and said reassuringly,
"It's cool Blizzard, she's uh, yeah let's go with friend. I'm here because its time to take a stand." He drew a breathe and started to speak.
"It's like this. All these years have gone by, and fox after fox after fox has had the same problem of dogs getting in the way of them trying to actually find some decent chow, no offence Daisy. Remember the meeting place, Blizzard? Where all the foxes with cubs would come to converse and let the younglings play? Remember listening in on the adults worries over steadily reclining forest and bolder, more ferocious dogs?" He turned to Daisy, "You might not notice this, but every fox is skinny these days. Sure, it seems like the norm, but there was a time when foxes were well fed, and on their own account. We used to leave you dogs and your sheep alone, there was plenty of prey in the forest and the foxes lived in peace. Then your masters, the evil two-leggers, decided the forest should be stripped down tree by tree to make room for their farms. Many foxes lost their homes and territories, and finally, we started to fight with each other, until the Oshlar pact came about." He winked at Blizzard at the mention of such a brave and famous fox. "To be short, Oshlar was this great and noble fox who united the foxes and made a great herd of families spread out acoss the remaining country. We worked together to make sure everyone had enough food and territories were equal. This worked for a while, and no one fought, but, let's face it, the forest was getting smaller. We began to look other places for food, and many a fox died from eating carrion or garbage. The only palce left to turn was the farms, and boy did we go crazy over the splendor of food there. So, do you see where we foxes are coming from when we say two-leggers ruined everything. And there is that rumor..." He contemplated the thought for a moment. "Well, my mother told it to me before she died, but once, long ago, dogs and foxes worked together to battle a great force, the humans, however, they had a large price to pay. A few years later, the last of the dogs became domesticated, and ever since dogs turned their backs on us, we've mistrusted and hated them."

Daisy looked at Fell and said, "Now i understand...I have always felt that what I have done was wrong....that my stupid so called master was evil...." She snorted and said, "I will join you in battle...I am no longer a herding dog or pet." She smiled and was so confident on her words that nothing was going to change her mind.

Blizzard nodded as Oshlar was mentioned. She turned to Daisy and said, "I think the time of peace between canines is coming back!" She looked up and smiled oh so confidently.

Fell looked at Daisy and grinned, a flicker of his true self.
"It's great to have you Daisy," he said, touching her nose lightly with his. It was at that point that the real weight of his injuries came down upon him, the adrenaline rush coming to a stop. His leg gave out and Fell slipped, only to stand back up in an instant, embarassed.

"Fell fox, what have you done now?" came a voice from behind him, and he whipped around to see a pair of reflecting green eyes staring into his own. A beautiful green female fox slipped out of the shadows, a mite smaller than himself, with the same build and same eyes. She flashed him a grin and added, "And what are you calling about now?"
"Jade!" he cried, licking her nose happily. He hadn't seen his sister in ages. She laughed and touched noses with him, also happy.
"Jade, you remember Blizzard from the meeting place, don't you? And this is Daisy." He pointed his tail at her. She took a step back, growling.
"Jade, stop it. She's an honorary fox now." He beamed at Daisy reassuringly.
"Says who?" barked Jade.
"Says me." Jade paused for a moment, considering, and then shrugged.
"Welcome to the good side, Daisy." she said, before looking at Fell again. "Well, you look a mess. What've you done now, and why are we being summoned Mr. Honorary fox-giver. I had to leave Divulli home with the pups."

"You have pups?" said Fell is a softer voice, ignoring the first part. His eyes softened slightly, "Why didn't you tell me? A mate and pups, wow." Jade rolled her eyes, quite fell-like.
"I just haven't had time. Divulli's a foreign fox, a used-to-be-nomad. And the pups are only three weeks, brother, eyes not even open yet." She blushed slightly, seeming a bit proud of her family.

Sherbert decided to just go to SOH, she was worried. When she got to her the fire was standing right over her, "We have to get out of here!" She shoved SOH to make her run.
