Pleasant Lake- a herding dog RP

Daisy limped still with Sherbert on her side, she was so dizzy she about fell down three times..but she made it to the barn and lay down on a pile of hay. She forgot where she was and she fell asleep.

"Yea, you rest." Sherbert saw feather yelling at SOH, "Do you ever stop yelling?" Sherbert asked angrily

Max laughed at what Sherbert had said, "yeah shut up traitor!" he growled.

Daisy woke up again and heard them ganging up on Feather...she said in a weak low growl, "Please....stop..fighting!" She wobbled up slightly but she was to dizzy and tired and she fell back onto the hay.

"Just go to sleep, you need it, ok?" Sherbert told Daisy

Daisy did a soft, "Hmmf.." and she fell into a deep deep sleep....

(Well.....everyone is blaming Feather for the fight and everyone getting hurt, but Daisy said it was hers and gets all mad and stuff and runs off into the forest during a storm. A tree branch falls on her and she gets knocked out and Sherbert takers her to her old den and lets her heal a bit and they go back to the barn and the fighting starts again, hope that helps!)

SOH turned to feather, "Feather, youd better shut your bottomless trap before I RIP IT OFF!" She growled and stood, staring threateningly into feather's eyes.

Max smiled and stood in front of SOH, taking a protective stance, "yeah!" he said with a little snarl.

Daisy had reqained her energy and stood like nother had ever hit her in the head. She walked over to the side of Feather and said, "Don't even start." Daisy had a little secret behind her. Though she said she had never fought before......she was a true fighting dog..................

Rain fell in the early afternoon, covering the trees and the flora like a cold, wet blanket and seeping into the ground. A twig snapped, a dull thud hit, and two ferns broke apart to reveal a very wet, exhausted, frustrated Fell. He glared out from underneath a rather leaky fallen tree, which made some sort of den against the soaked muddy mess of a ground. He growled: low, deep; a foxes growl. An angry fozes growl at that. Overhead, a courageous crow soared onward, slowing to caw indigenously at the ridiculous looking fox. But to Fell, it was as if the crow was mocking his family line, which was the only matter on Fell's mind.
"Stupid fox, stupid fox!" the crow seemed to say, "Father alive, alive. Left alone, caw caw." Another growl issued from him, and he spat up at the dark gray cloud cover,
"My father was a good fox! He would have never abandoned his family!" Sitting in silence for a few moments while the storm raged, he added, "Or at least not the Ryne I knew." Fell sighed, blinking back sudden, piercing hot tears, and tucked both front feet under his body for dismal warth, tucking in for a while to wait the storm out.

Lightening flashed, thunder rolled, and rain still splattered agaisnt the barren trunk of the fallen tree.
drip...drip...drip...
Fell moaned in his sleep and shifted slightly to the left, his nose cold from the water continuously leaking onto it.
drip...drip...drip...
However, his mind did not seem to notice, for it was in another realm completely, remembering another vicious storm...
...'Keep still Fell, keep your sister warm.' ordered Ryne in a deep, fatherly tone, pushing the little pup back into the makeshift nest of hair, chicken feathers, and dried grass where Jade lay sleeping. 'I wanna see the storm!' cried Fell in a high pitched, eager voice, his great green eyes wide with wonder. Ryne smiled, glancing at his mate, Jipsy, who was currently curled protectively around most of the nest with her head lying neatly on her dark gray paws. She gave a faint nod, of which Fell took notice, and immediately bounded out from the nest's warm guard and towards the den entrance. Ryne followed him, rather amused at his only son. They sat perched against the hard, wet den floor at the entrance, looking out into the scary, storm-ridden forest with awe. 'Stay still now Fell, see the rivers already flowing?' He pointed with one large paw towards a make-shift river, the current strong and fast. Fell nodded, eyes growing wider still. 'Ohkay, Father....err, Father?' Ryne looked at him: 'yes, son?' Fell looked down sheepishly and mumbled in a barely audible voice against the splattering rain, 'What happens to the sheepdogs when it rains? Do they have dens too?' Ryne laughed, a laugh deep and full of wit as a foxes laugh should be. 'No son, herdingdogs don't have dens like foxes. They sleep in the barn or the farmer's barn, both of which are dry and warm.' He sighed, contemplating something for a moment, and then added, 'one day Fell, one day you'll be there too, in the warm, soft barn hay.' 'Father, what do you-" But Fell was cut off as a raging tide of water appeared, and before the two foxes could move, they were swept away. Fell, clawing towards the air, calling his parents in a foxkit's voice, began to drown, drown in his own thoughts, his memories...

"ARGHHHH!" Fell awoke as a large crackling sound occured, growling at the noise. Flames rose from every side; the tree's erect branches had caught a bolt of lightening and burst into an inferno. Coughing and sputtering, the fox tried to claw his way out, yelping in pain as the flames licked his side and left deep, gouging burns in their wake. He twisted around and growled, swiping a paw at a trailing branch of fire that snagged his tail and burning the pads on it. Finally, in a last act, the adrenaline and will to live rushing to his brain, Fell leapt into the inferno and crash landed, rolling to a halt, in the cool, soothing mud. He lay there, shivering as pain rippled through his small, defenseless body, and let the rain cool off his still blazing tail.
Finally, with a great effort, he lifted his head up and turned to view the damage. There were a total of four large burns on his sides, masking over the green markings and making his whole body look a raw, bloody gray color. His tail was missing a patch, in which the skin there was also raw and altogether, Fell looked indeed like someone who had been cooked at 450 degrees in an oven for ten minutes like chocolate chip cookies [can't you tell I'm hungry?]. Shaking, he stood, aggressive, ancient fox instincts taking over. He must survive, he must pass down his line, he must live. Fell did not trouble his remaining energy with moans of pain, instead he clenched his teeth and leapt off, loping at a rather fast speed for his conditions. There was only one place he could go that would heal him, one person who cared....


He would go to Feather, at the barn.

His dream had told him that, hadn't it? His father, so long ago, had told him the barn was the only safe place in a storm. His father had long before that, on a walk through the forest, told him it was a foxes duty to help and protect another fox, as long as the fox was friendly and the rule that a fox helped was a fox in debt was understood. Feather was fox, right? At least part fox, at least part Ryne. Fell sighed, an accomplishment that took enormous effort as his body jarred and complained with each bounding lope. The only thought was getting to the barn, the idea that SOH or any other dog might be there, even the farmer! completely blown out of his mind. He reached the pasture and continued through the long grass, stopping only for a short moment to lap up some water pooled in a ditch before continuing. He made it to the barn and stopped, glancing around nervously as all his fears of the dogs and farmer rushed back in an instant. Hesitant, fearful, yet ever brave and clever, the fox scratched quite dog-like at the door and said in his strongest, most purposeful voice, "Feather? Are you there? It's uh...its Fell."

Daisy stared in shock at the barn door is that fox really here? This is not going to end well.... she turned to the others to see if they had heard him. She knew they had

Sherbert looked back and saw Fell, she growled, "Why are you here?"

Max turned his attention to the dripping wet and sorry looking fox, he felt sympathy but knew how it must be. He growled at the fox menacingly, he had starting to look like his father, though he never knew him. Max's muscles had started to develop and though he was still very young, he had a strong, fearless look to him, even though one of his legs was bound in a cast.

Feather ran up to Max. "First, you don't tell me to shut up, two, I can break all of your other legs just as easily as I broke the first, and third, Leave. That. Fox. ALONE." She growled before pushing him aside and running over to Fell.

"Feather wait!" Daisy ran after her, hoping Fell wouldn't go crazy seeing her.

Max stood slowly and growled and said in a menacing yet gentle tone, " You just try it scum, that fox does not belong here, and neither do you". Though he was young, Max had the blood of a long line of proud sheepherders running through his veins. He had grown up a lot in the past few weeks.

Daisy turned and said to Max, "If she doesn't belong here, neither do I!" She followed Feather out of the barn.

Max just stood there watching them leave, he knew Daisy would be back after her tantrum.

Fell winced at the battle, something new to his body and, hopefully, only temporary. However, he winced again as he saw Feather streaking out of the barn, followed by Daisy.
"Please, Dujitsi, let her be a friend?" he whispered to the fox God [haha?] as he braced himself for impact. Fell shivered slightly, the rain had already soaked his coat and was now weaving icy tendrils along his skin.

"I'm not going to hurt you..." Daisy said lowering her head to show that. "I just...I just don't want to live as a herding any longer...but as a wild dog with you and Feather. Do you take my offer?"
