Pleasant Lake- a herding dog RP

SOH fumed with exitment, she took off. her small ears falling behind her head, "cant catch me max!" she called.

Sherbert smiled when she saw SOH coming up behind her, then she reached the farm.

Max stood, rooted to the spot by indecision. Did he really want to go back and forget about all of this?, he didn't know, he was torn, between SOH and between the freedom that he enjoyed so much out here.

Sherbert looked back, "C'mon Max!" She called and wagged her tail wildly.

SOH stopped and did a play-bow. "cmon! im starving!"

Sherbert shrugged, "I dont think he wants to come.."

"whats wrong max?" SOH began to walk back.

Sherbert followed close behind SOH.

Max stared ahead of him, lost in thought, "I do..don't know, do you really want to go back?...I..I don't think I can" he said, his face expressionless.

"WHy?" Sherbert asked as she walked up to him, SOH in front of her.

Daisy walked out of the bushes, she had been listening and she said, "I am staying here to."

"Because, I've changed, the humans have seen my army..I...can't go back" he said, tearful as he looked into SOH's eyes, he couldn't bear having to leave her.

Sherbert looked at SOH, "WHa--!?"

Daisy looked at Max, "Would you like to live with me? Together out here?"

"you know humans, theyll forget it. theyll just convince themselves that they were just seeing things or something. theyre always so logical. Cmon max!" her voice cracked, she felt like getting on her knees and begging max to come, but she didnt want to force him to do anything.

Sherbert growled slightly at Daisy, then mouthed Dont encourage him!

"Its his choice! Let him do what he wants!" Daisy said quickly, not in a harsh tone

Sherbert shook her head and looked down at Max, "A-Are you sure?"

SOH looked away, hurt, but she didnt want max to see.

Sherbert felt ad for SOH, "Its okay...." I think...

Max stared at his paws, "I..could visit often" he said, walking round and looking in SOH's eyes, tears trickling down, wetting his fur, but his face was expressionless. Then he suddenly lay his head against the older dogs chest, feeling her warmth, he began to shake silently, sobbing and hiding his face in SOH's long chest fur.

"Maaax!" Sherbert sadly looked at him.

"im not leaving you, if you want this that bad ill stay with you. I dont trust these woods to take care of you well enough alone with daisy." She smiled. "its okay. well work this out. i know your under alot of pressure and we can stay here as long as we want."

Daisy frowned, "You don't trust me?"

Sherbert frowned at Daisy, "Well, Max probably would want to stay with SOH more than he would you."
