Athena looked at the ground. "i was sold to a rich family who kept me tied in the backyard... i cant really remember..."

"That must have been horrible, did the pochers kill your whole family?" he asked

Most of them got sick and died" Athena smirked.

"Oh, Im sorry.. havent you spoken about your brother before? What was he like?" Juma asked Ashanti.

"like you..." Ashanti turned to juma, fixing her eyes on him.

"Wh-what?" Juma looked at her in suprise, "I-is that why you have been, well sort of avoiding me?" he whisperd.

"mabie..." Ashanti sighed. "i just cant stand to be around you... i loved him so much!"

"Well, Im sorry, maybe... maybe I should just leave." He got up and started to walk away.

"it's fine!" Ashanti begged. "it's probably good for me, i think it already has done me some good."

Juma looked back, he asked, "Like what, saved you twice and you never said thank you!?"

"look, im SORRY." Ashanti whispered. "that it's helping me move on."

"I-its ok.." Juma whisperd back to her.

Ashanti smiled

Juma looked suprised at Ashanti smiling at him, he smiled back.

Juvvin looked between the two and slowly backed off a bit, saying
"I'll go find the others." before whisking away.

Sift trotted along in the forest, still looking for prey. He found a small pond and bounded up to it. He lowered his head and lapped up the slightly warm water.

Ashanti lifted her muzzle and gave a high-pitched fox howl. (maned wolves are related to foxes, even though theyre called wolves)

"Hey," called Juvvin, padding up to Sift, "We got food!"

"Really? Cool!" Sift said and turned around to go to the food.

"This way!" the elder she-wolf replied, turning and loping back the way she came and coming to a stop in front of the antelope.

Sift walked out in front of the antelope and sniffed it. Then he turned to Juvvin, "Can I have some? I'm really hungry." he said.

"Yeah of course, did in." She wagged her tail and began eating slowly, pondering as she did so.

Sift grinned and tore pieces of the antelope off, once he had his fill, he turned and lay down.

Juvvin finished and stepped back, satisfied. She laid down a bit away from the kill, tired at the killing of the antelope, but happy. She felt almost as if she were in a pack again.

Lully, who had slightly lost everyone after the chase, walked up to where the kill was and said, "Could I have some....or whats left?" Lully was a bit unhappy for she had found the antelope and made the plan, but all she got was a few left overs.
