Grass Blades- A Maned Wolf RP

Juvvin snarled as she leapt onto the antelope, clutching its shoulders and dragging it off of Juma. For an elderly wolf, she had strength! The she-wolf then charged at it and got it around the neck, biting hard, her pack paws scrabbling against the chest and legs. The antelope fell and the fight continued, until at last the beast lay dead in the grass, and Juvin overtop of it, triumphant. She immediately stepped off and went to the two, concerned.
"Are you ohkay?" she asked, worried.

Juma was unconcious, he was breathing shallowly, he had a big gash in his back

Juvvin sniffed in Juma's direction and smelled blood. She stood over the male and bent low, licking the wound clean with gentle, clensing licks until she could see the severity of it. She then pressed a paw to it to stop the flow so it could scab over.

Juma didnt open his eyes, he was breathing even harder now cause of all the blood loss.

Ashanti ran up. "what happend?" she panted.

Juma twitched, but didnt wake up.

"The antelope attacked him," replied Juvvin worredly, she laid down next to the dog to keep him warm, for bloodloss made you cold.

Juma opend his eyes slowly and got up. "What ha-- ooh! My baack!!"

"no, what happend to his back? did an antler get him?"

Juma layed back down, "Ughhh, my baack.."

Ashanti looked at Juma with concern.

"I don't know, I was busy taking out the antelope. Let me see..." she examined the wound and then realized it was a rib that had somehow bent a bit out of a wack and was hurting the spine. "This is going to hurt a bit..." she warned, and then gently pushed the rib back into place with her a paw, it made a clicking sound. "Hungry, thirsty?" she asked Juma, crouching down to get a better look.

"EHe, I would like to eat the antelope I killed," he walked over to the smaller antelope and sat down, eating it.

Ashanti rolled her eyes and sat down, sighing.

Juvvin went to her kill and stood looking at it, surprised.
"Well, this is a bit bigger than my rabbit," she said sarcastically.

Ashanti dove on the antelope carcass and started to dig in.

"We did make a pretty good team though," said Juvvin wistfully, "It makes me miss my pack..." she trailed off, eyes clouded in momentary pain.

Juma finished the whole antelope, "Wow, this one was smaall!" Juma sighed.

"Told you!" Ashanti smirked, still eating. then she turned to Juvvin, licking her lips. "what happend?"

"Poachers, mostly, and after we were injured a pack of lionesses caught up with us. I only survived because I had gone wandering to find the pups... I miss pack life...." She sighed.

Juma walked over to Ashanti and sat next to her, "Your welcome, again. " he whisperd in her ear

"poachers got my family too... but they kept us alive, to sell as furniture items. you know, for looks." Ashanti sighed. she never trusted anyone enough to tell them this. "But not before Disiease hit the pack, Almost everyone died... i was just a pup..."

"You poor thing!' said Juvvin, looking at her sadly, "At least I was full grown, and had lived a rather good life. Oh deary, that's horrible."

Juma felt bad for what he said, "S-sorry.." he said under his breath.
