Rescue Team - A Rescue Dog RP

You are a rescue dog in training, you rescue people from avalanches. You are also a dog sled team.


Sniffer was ready for his first day of training how to be a rescue dog. He wagged his tail at all the other dogs in training "Isn't this great?" he asked

((Sniffer is a male Dalmation))

Radar smirked, "it is great!" he laughed at the exitment in the dalmatian, he stood next his master. his red rescue harness accented his bold chest, he was muscular, like all alaskan huskies, and big. He began to pant at his own exitment.

((Radar is a malamute, border collie, greyhound mix(aka, an alaskan husky). he looks kinda like this: he wears a black collar with a green hoop pendant. i will make a ref later))

Sniffers master looked down at him and smiled, "Thats a good boy."
Sniffer wagged his tail

Radar straightend as they waited for the trainer to emerge from the red cross office, he raised an eyebrow at a cute looking english shepherd next to him.

((i think ill play as the english shepherd too))

Sniffer started drooling at the english sheperd, he too thought it was adorable

((Tint is a yearling english shepherd, she has black and red striped collar with a red circle tag. she looks like this: ))

Tint scowled at the fresh males that were smiling at her, she stuck out her poofy chest in a pout. radar looked away, he knew how to please a lady.

Sniffer immitated Radar and looked away

((ima go for a while, i havva eat dinner. then imb spending the night at bradleys))

the trainer came out of the office, he strutted down the line of dogs and handlers. Radar sat up straighter and took one last glance at tint. who was laying on the snowy ground.

Sniffer had his eyes on a different dog, a female doberman, about the same age a Sniffer. "Hi.." Sniffer blushed at the doberman named Pixie

Pixie said gently, "Hello"

The trainer started talking to the handlers, he then led all the dogs toward an obstacle course. he pointed toward the first obstacle and began to jabber on.

Sniffer and his handler went over to the first obstacle and the handlers listened to the trainer as the dogs were looking away

The trainer led the group over the first obstacle, a curved pvc pipe just large enough for a large dog to fit through. Radar was led through, he confidently crouched though it. Tint was reluctant to go through at first, she finally she forced herself to follow the other dogs.

Sniffer was a skinny dog, but wasnt really skinny, he went through the pipe almost without touching the top.

Pixie took a minute to get through, she was very muscular, so it was a little difficult

the next obstacle was a barred jump, Radar bounded it in a single stride. his silvery brown hair glinting off the reflections in the snow. a clean jump, when he landed a spray of powdered snow flew up behind him. Tint needed a running start at first but made it fine.

Sniffer studied at how high he would have to jump to make it over, he ran and jumped just high enough to make it over.

Pixie practically flew, she jumped so gracefully over it, everyone was amazed

The following obstacles were an A frame, and a ladder, finally a hoop jump.

Radar flew up and down the A frame in a matter of seconds, the hoop jump was no problem either.

Tint slowed up on the top of the A frame and on the way down too. the hoop jump wasnt even bumped as she flew though it.

The obstacles were easy for Sniffer until he came to the hoop, he jumped through it and got to close to the side and his collar got stuck pretty bad

Pixie went through the obstacles then she got to the hoop. She tried to push him up so it would slide off, because he was hanging, " I need help! "

Radar rushed to the scene, but the handlers had already taken care of it.

Sniffer was coughing pretty bad, he had to do the obstalce over again after everyone else finished

The next exercise was the handlers had to hide behind a snow bank and have their dog find them.

Sniffer was first, he knew what his handler smelled like, he sniffed evey possible thing he could,then came to a human smell and jumped to it, he found him.

Pixie sniffed all over the place, then found her handler behind the snow bank

Radar's sence of smell wasnt too good, but his eyes were, he looked at the foot prints in the ground and recognized his master's stride.

Tint used her sharp nose and found her master after about a muinite.
