-Fox Tails-

-The rain pelted the ground as thunder and lightning boomed and flashed across the sky. Gypsy found the sound comforting and relaxing, while others found it frightning. The lightnings glow crept into the hallow tree in which Gypsy was sleeping in. Her red fur with white accents glowed through the night. She was waiting silently for someone to come to her. Gypsy's job was to tell the souls in need of what is to come but in the last centry no one has come to her. Still she waited though for that one sould to come to her pleading for help. So she waited and she was ready for what ever came her way.-

Dusk hopped in the scene, her blue fur dancing in each step she took. She saw a red female fox, and skidded to a halt, her tail blowing through the wind, "I need help, fast!" she pleaded. "Please hurry, it's- it's coming!!!" she screamed as the thunder cracked louder.

Gypsy's long and gorgeous tail swang back and forth as her eyes were full of sympathy as she said "Calm down my child, what is the matter?"

Dusk cried out "Three, big wolves, coming this way!! And they've told their packs! Some of my other friends and I were... kind of stealing from their catches and eating their prey... but now their after us!! and I can't find either of them and the wolves know where I am!!" She looked back, she couldn't see them, but she scenced them coming. "Please, hurry!!" she shreiked.

"Calm down and come with me." Gypsy headed into her hallow tree. "Its safe in here . Come on in"

Misty (one of Dusk's friends) ran behind her whimpering in fear, "HELP HELP PLEASE!" She screached, her blue tail swinging behind her, "What do we do?!" The lighting struck and lit up her blue and green fur, and made her green-yellow eyes shine like flash lights

Dusk followed Gypsy into the hallow tree.

"Misty!! Over here, hurry!!" Dusk called to her friend. Misty was in great danger unless she climbed into the tree. Dusk didn't want to lose a friend, she wouldn't lose a friend.

"Hush now we dont want them to here you, do we?"

"No, we don't. But what about Misty? I'm not going to leave her there to be wolf-chow!" Dusk fought.

Gypsy spoke softly to Dusk "Now you wait here do not make a sound and i will see if i can find her." She left the den and went to look for the other young fox.

"Dusk here I'm over here!" Misty screamed in terror, the she ran into Gypsy and screamed, for she thought Gypsy was a wolf....

"Come in Misty we must talk. And please stop screaming, a wolf may find us"

Misty then realized Gypsy was no wolf and followed quickly behind her..

Dusk wanted to scream out 'HURRY MISTY, HURRY!!' but she just sat their, watching her friend with an innocent face. What could Dusk do? She could sit there and wait, where her friend and the fox who saved her would be plowed down by five dozen wolves.

"Inside now." Gypsy said in a whisper.

Misty jumped in and said and cuddled up next to Dusk and she started to cry....

"Misty, what... what if they find us." Dusk said in horror as tears ran down her face.

"Th-they....they caught the others!" Misty said crying even harder

"NO!!" Dusk cried out. "oops..." she said quietly, Dusk might've drawn the wolves closer.

"Shhh..I know its said....but we must make sure we don't have the same fate!" Misty whispere

(I'm back but not for very long....)

"Yes she's right." Gypsy said quietly. Gypsy heard the sound of heavy paws toucing the ground at a fast pace twards the den. "Get back!!!" The wolves past the den without looking in, their wild howls could be heard for miles."We must stay quiet."

After awhile Gypsy looked outside and made sure the wolves were gone. It was still raining and then she turned to Dusk and Misty. "Are you two insane?!? You can not go after things that belong to the wolves. That is stealing and it is wrong... but I think you have already learned you leason. So... here." Gypsy pulled out a dead rabbit and offerd it 2 young foxes.

"Sorry..." they said and felt ashamed. Then the foxes were given a rabbit. "Thanks!" Dusk said and perked up. "So do you think they'll be coming back? Oh wait, I never quite caught your name.." Dusk said to Gypsy with her fluffy tail wrapped around her dainty paws.

"It's Gypsy. And were are your parents or are they gone like the other foxes that went with you?"
