I think Corel is alright aside, from what I can remember, the smallest brush (one pixel) is not smooth and textured like Photoshop's. I've always had Adobe Photoshop 7.0; Corel was just a trial Smile

I've heard about it but actually never tried it. Maybe I should just test it. Eventually X'D Is it rather easy or rather hard to understand?

I have this "awesome" program with the many uber awesome functions ... but can't handle it. I even have problems using the canvas ... I totaly prefer Photoshop, it's much cleaner and easier to use.

... but Photoshop is more expensive (and a lot bigger, I think) xD How come I just downloaded and installed the trial version - as if I still didn't mess around with enough different programmes so far - simply to see how good it is (and how well a "software idiot" like me can handle it) but it always says that the trial period has expired Shocked I didn't install or even download it before but oh well XD

I haven't had the problem with the high costs, my father brought it me from his job Wink

I wouldn't call Photoshop bigger, Painter has much more(!) brush settings I can't even handle in the German version! If you're able to work with this program, you could draw realistic traditional pictures ... because you could set every setting for creating a good brush.

Photoshop against this is easy, with the few filter you don't even need to draw good pictures. But I don't know why your trial period has expired so far. Well, there is a way to get PS, but I won't tell here.
