Kimi frowned and looked over at Radar, then her daughter, "It was horrible."

"Mystery was there for a while though, you probably dont remember. you were just a pup, and they probably wiped your memory because you were so powerful." Radar said.

"I dont remember anything though. The only thing I remember is when Mom left and now."

"my point exactly" radar licked his paw and then stood.

"wait you guys...." Spyder said in a faint whisper.

"what are we doing anyway? i feel like we should do something but NO were just sitting around!" Velocity whined.

"SHHHHHHH" Spyders ears twitched and he closed his eyes... trying to concentrate. "We need to get out of here... NOW!"

there was a sudden BOOM of tnt in front of the entrance to the warehouse.

Mystery ran over to Spyder when the explosion blew, she flew into the air and hit her head on a small peice of wood with a thud.

Kimi was right next to the entrance, she rammed her head into Radar when the explosion went off, getting him away from the explosion. But she was caught in it. Her back felt like fire as the entrance broke up in flames and smoke. Gasping for fresh air she collapsed onto the floor.

Radar was pushed over by kimi, he blacked out. when his vision returned all he saw was dust from all the collapsed crates. "Kimi." he said hoarsley.

Spyder felt around for mystery through the dust, but ran into velocity instead.

"V!"
"what happened?"
"i dont know!"
velocity tried to look around, so much dust was everywhere. and something sharp was imbedded in her back leg. she ignored the pain.
"lets get everyone and ditch!" SPyder cried.

Velocity responded by walking toward the explosion.
"VELOCITY!!!"
she could make out a figure in the dust before her "why am i not surprised its you?" she asked spindrift.

Kimi felt Velocity right next to her, and someone else. "V.." That was all she could say until she passed out. And she wasnt breathing.

Mystery shakily stood up and squinted her eyes so she could see through the smoke. Turning on her glowy eyes, she saw her mom laying on the floor. "M-MOM!!" Mystery cried and ran over to her.

Spindrift chuckled. "Velocity... you think im some loonie whos trying to ruin your life. but im not. im just trying to have fun and make my mark. you could have fun too ya know" he smiled eerily.

"YOU DISRESPECTANT PYRO!!" Velocity flung her body at him by surprise and put a paw to his neck.

"V!" Mystery ran over to her, "What are you doing???"

"mind your own business you cross breed!" Velocity snarled and looked back down at her feet where spindrift had lain, he was gone.

Velocity spun around frantically, "YOU MADE ME LOSE HIM MYSTERY!"

Mystery sunk back over to her mom, "S-Sorry.."
Kimi woke up after Mystery's tail brushed against her, cough cough cough! "Ughh, what happened?"

Velocity swirled around. "CMON LETS GET OUTTA HERE!"

"Someone help me get my mom!" Mystery called to them

Spyder followed Mystery's voice well in the fog, he lifted mystery onto his back with Mystery's help and ran out the door.

Mystery smiled at Spyder, "Thanks" She smiled and staggered while carrying her mom with him.

they came out of the warehouse, billowing smoke coming from the windows and doors. windows were being blown out from the heat.

Velocity suddenly could see through the fog. like infared, she could see exactly where the fire was. and could see another figure... on the side of the warehouse. "there you are..."

"Holy... The warehouse... " Mystery frowned, tears swelling up in her eyes. That had been the first place she had met Spyder at.

Velocity crashed through a window that was about to break anyway, a shard hit her brow and she began to bleed. Spindrift spun around, "look who came out to play" he snickered and dodged V as she tried steer her landing on top of him. "nice job bluey, but youll have to try harder." Spindrift snarled and grabbed Velocity by the neck, throwing her down to the ground. V struggled under his weight, he was heavier than her! but not taller. velocity stretched out her back legs and threw spindrift off of her, his grip streched her neck flesh painfully but he let go and landed on all four feet.

Leaf came p behind SpinDrift, "W-What are you doing???" He stared at him.

"LEAF! hey bud! let me introduce you to my good friend Velocity." Spin put his paw on Leafs back.

Velocity stood, feet spread wide and panting. "you brought a KID into this?"

"Hi. I already know her." Leaf smiled weirdly at Velocity, laying on the floor.

"oh yeah, i remember ya." Velocity sneered

"he is willingly staying with me, im the father he never had. right Leaf?" Spindrift said

Leaf slightly nodded, then looked over at Velocity again, "Am I a bad guy now?"

"if you stick with him... yeah, i have no choice." Velocity pucked her lower lip and shook her head slowly.

"C'mon kid, dont listen to her. lookit er, shes got no street smart whatsoever. if you wanna be a survivor like me, youd turn your back and come to my side." Spindrift said in his hoarse eerie voice.

Leaf hesitated.. thinking. "Ok, ... Spindrift.."
