-The Jungle Guardians-

Iranian wolves are a smaller, leaner subtype of gray wolf found in the Middle Eastern jungles. They have thin, fuzzy coats. you many know them from The Jungle Book as the wolves that cared for Mowgli. This rp is about a pack of them living in the jungle, fighting threats like tigers, snakes, panthers, and other creatures, surviving droughts and prey losses, as well as hunters and angry villagers ;D.

Alpha positions are open, as well as second in command [beta?]. Anubis specials in healing, just as a little * next to his name ^^.

The half moon sparkled mysteriously in the star-ridden sky, bathing everything in a white glow. A small, gray-brown form appeared from the underbrush, her bright green eyes sparkling.
"Anubis, over here!" called a voice, and she turned to see another, almost identical female wolf striding towards him, her tongue hanging out and her body heaving from exertion. Bright blue eyes glittered in delight as she looked him over.
"Where have you been?" he asked, touching noses with his sister, Talla.
"Down by Snake Rock, trying to see if the pythons had hatched yet. I still say we should dispose of them before they do, it'd be much easier." Anubis shook his head in an esperated manner, leading the way back to the home den.
"You must learn to allow life to live before killing it. Besides, what if one of them turned out good, and revolutionized the python nation into becoming friends with the wolves. What if you killed our only chance of making an ally?" It was Talla's turn to shake her head; Anubis always had too much time for thought. They broke through the underbrush to the secluded, tree-spotted clearing that faced a cliff. There were ledges where wolves could watch for miles; thick ancient trees with the bowels scraped clean for small dens, and of course the large cave where the pack slept during floods, which happened in the rainy season. A smaller den, higher up on a ledge, was where the alphas rested. A small river ran through the right of the clearing, its crystal watter bubbling merrily over rocks used as stepping stones. There were other caves that dotted the cliffwall, and many of them went far back into the rock, some of them caved in, others connected by a network of tunnels. It was paradise.

A grey-white iranian wolf with black points walked up to the two siblings, "Hello there," he started, his eyes glowing yellow.

Sweat! They are so cute and fuzzy I was very tempted to name my character Fuzz butt XD but her name shall be Fireheart. Could she be an alpha? n_n)

She stood ontop of the nice ledge where she could see for miles. She noticed Anubis and Talla heading towards her and smiled, she let out a welcoming howl.

(we are all one pack right?)

[yes, they're all one pack, yes they're cute as anything, and yes, you two can claim the spots to your heart's desire. yayyyyy]

"Hey," said Talla, while Anubis gave the beta a nod. He looked up to where Fireheart was situated and returned her howl with a bark of greeting.

Fireheart smiled and greeted them back, "Shall we go hunt? Or have you brought something with you?"

Anubis grinned up at her.
"No, we didn't bring anything back sadly. Well, I brought back Talla," he looked over his shoulder at her for a moment, "She was checking the Snake Rock to see if the babies had hatched yet. The eggs are still intact. But I'd love to go hunting."

"Alright, then lets go!" Fireheart hopped down each rock to get down from the tall cliff. She got to the ground finally and said, "So where shall we go first?"

"Oooo!" exclaimed Talla, "Let's go hunting by the stream. It's nearly dusk, so the herds will be coming for their drinking!" Anubis laughed at her enthusiasm.
"Sounds good to me. Anybody else up for some hunting?"

ooc: lol I haven't even gotten to sketching/drawing, I'm so busy replying!! xD

"Sure!" he agreed and wagged his tail. ((sorry I have to make him a name later, my brain's dead now! xD))

"Ohkay then!" said Talla, wagging her tail, eyes bright.
[ooc: i know what you mean. I'm only going to reply to these two wolf ones at the moment.]

((Omegas are the least dominant in the pack and there is usually only one, though they are low ranking, they are very important in wolf social structure a lot of tension is realeased using the Omega, by attacking him or her and therefore getting rid of anger, awww poor Taka XD)

Taka the wolf followed the others, head and tail down, he was the scapegoat for pretty much everything, he had a long dark brown, almost black coat and had golden eyes. Taka was large and muscular from the many fights he had endured, though he put up a good fight he was always outnumbered about five to one. He had a few scars on his muzzle and a few nicks in his ears.

Anubis brushed passed Taka without even noticing him.
